Ghanaian musician J. Derobie has revealed his biggest regret since rising to fame in the music industry.
Speaking in an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, he admitted that dealing with the pressures of fame has been one of his biggest struggles. According to him, the constant attention can be overwhelming, making it difficult to carry out simple everyday activities.
He shared his frustration about being unable to do basic things without drawing attention, such as buying food. “For instance, when I want to buy my waakye, people often say, ‘Oh, super! Let me buy it for you.’ But sometimes, I just want to go without the attention,” he said.
Reflecting on his early expectations in the industry, J. Derobie stated, “I imagined myself heading to the top. I still have that dream that one day I will make it big and possibly win a Grammy.”
Despite the challenges that come with fame, he remains committed to his craft and continues to work toward achieving his musical aspirations.
