The National Communications Authority (NCA), in partnership with the Radiation Protection Institute (RPI), has launched a two-day Trainer of Trainers workshop focusing on Masts & Towers and Their Impact on Consumers.
The event, held at the NCA Tower, aims to educate trainers who will later disseminate vital information to the public.
This initiative is part of the NCA’s activities in preparation for World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD). Recognizing the concerns and misconceptions surrounding telecommunications infrastructure, the workshop seeks to address public fears, particularly regarding the installation of masts and towers in residential areas.
By equipping trainers with essential knowledge, the NCA and RPI hope to promote consumer awareness and confidence in telecommunications infrastructure. The objective is to ensure that consumers understand the significance of these structures in enhancing connectivity while also assuring them of their safety.
This proactive approach by the NCA and RPI demonstrates a commitment to consumer education and public engagement, reinforcing the importance of reliable and secure telecommunications infrastructure in Ghana.
