Ghanaian singer Cina Soul has opened up about the kind of man she wants to date, making it clear that she prefers someone outside the entertainment industry.
In an interview with KMJ on Prime Morning, the soulful singer, known for her love-inspired lyrics, was asked whether she would consider dating a fellow artist.
Her response was a firm no. She explained that she wants a relationship where she can learn about different industries and experiences rather than constantly discussing music.
“I feel like artiste to artiste is someway. It could work for some people, but for me, I want someone with a different story. I want us to come back home and talk about things like, ‘How was the hospital? Oh, how was court? How was the bank?’ Not every day, ‘Okay, the studio.’ We’ll all talk about the same thing. So, I just want something different,” she stated.
However, she emphasized that her ideal partner should still have an enjoyable personality and a vibe that matches hers. When asked if dating someone from a different profession, such as a doctor, might be boring, she disagreed.
“It won’t be dull, in my opinion. You’ll have a ton of tales. He’ll probably say something like, ‘This person did this, and then I saved a life.’ It seems like it will be fascinating,” she added.
