King Paluta’s management has expressed disappointment over the exclusion of his hit song “Makoma” from the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) nominations.
In a petition to the TGMA board, the team questioned why “Makoma,” which they consider one of the biggest songs of the year, was not nominated despite being submitted for multiple categories.
According to the management, the song was entered into four categories: Most Popular Song, Record of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year, and Songwriter of the Year. However, it failed to receive any nominations.
Describing the decision as “unpopular,” they urged the TGMA board to provide a clear explanation and reconsider the song’s eligibility for the awards.
