Health Services Workers Union Engages Members in Upper East Region

The Health Services Workers’ Union Ghana, in collaboration with its National Leadership, successfully conducted a vibrant and engaging member centric forum over the weekend in the Upper East Region.

The event demonstrated the growing interest and dedication of members toward understanding and contributing to union matters.

The strong spirit of participation highlighted the increasing awareness and involvement of the union’s members. This collective enthusiasm reflects a significant shift in how members perceive and engage with union-related issues, showcasing a renewed commitment to the cause of advocating for better working conditions and fair remuneration.

The Regional Industrial Relations Officer reaffirmed his dedication to promoting the welfare of health service workers. He emphasized the importance of unity and resilience among the Ghanaian working class, particularly within the health services sector. “Fellow members must remain formidable against oppression and foster a collective spirit for the realization of improved salaries and benefits,” he stated.

Furthermore, he assured members of his unwavering commitment to working diligently toward building a better Ghana, where the dedication of health service workers is adequately rewarded.

He expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the union for their continued support and extended congratulations to the Upper East Regional Council members for their contributions to the success of the engagement.
