Ghanaian songstress Cina Soul is set to thrill fans with an exciting collaboration featuring the country’s renowned vocal powerhouse, Efya. The much-anticipated project was announced during her appearance on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Friday, March 21, 2025.
During the interview with Doreen Avio, Cina Soul revealed her decision to release the song as a standalone project, emphasizing the special significance of the collaboration.
“I want to release the song with Efya. We have a song together. But you know, I didn’t want to put it on the album because, yeah, I wanted to give it special attention,” she explained.
The news has sparked excitement among fans, with many eager to witness the musical chemistry between the two celebrated vocalists. Cina Soul has often expressed her admiration for Efya, who has consistently dominated the Female Vocal Performance category at the Ghana Music Awards.
In a 2019 interview, Cina Soul paid tribute to Efya, reflecting on the influence she had on her musical journey. “I grew up listening to Efya and mimicking some of the things she did, so if you tell me I sound like her or compare me to her, it’s a blessing,” she said.
While the collaboration with Efya is highly anticipated, Cina Soul is also setting her sights on international stages. She voiced her aspirations to work with global music icons, including Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Burna Boy, Tems, and Ayra Starr.
“I want to perform with Beyonce, with Chris Brown, with Burna Boy, with Tems, with Ayra, who else? They are plenty,” she shared enthusiastically.
Cina Soul recently dropped her latest album, ‘Did I Lie?’, which features Ghanaian International dancehall star Stonebwoy.
