FBI Arrest Abu Trica over an alleged Romance Scam of over $8 Million

The FBI has reportedly arrested popular Ghanaian socialite Agonanye Abu Trica, who is alleged to be involved in a sophisticated online fraud scheme targeting elderly Americans. According to initial reports, the 31-year-old was picked up at his residence inside his newly acquired mansion at Agona Swedru, following a joint operation with local authorities.

Investigators say Abu Trica is suspected of playing a major role in a romance-scam network that defrauded victims of over $8 million. He is currently in police custody and is expected to be extradited to the United States to face charges connected to the case.

Sources indicate that another individual believed to be his accomplice was also taken into custody during the operation. Authorities are continuing investigations to uncover the full extent of the alleged network and its activities.
