Drama continues to unfold online following the shocking death of veteran Highlife singer Dada KD.
The family of the late singer has stepped forward to clarify his complicated relationship with music icon Daddy Lumba. They revealed that Lumba introduced his girlfriend to Dada KD as his sister, never disclosing their true romantic relationship.
Unbeknownst to him, Dada KD reportedly dated the woman and even had children with her. The family asserts that the ensuing confusion was not Dada KD’s fault.
Additionally, they accused Daddy Lumba of sabotaging Dada KD’s career, claiming that some of his most promising songs mysteriously failed to gain traction. While they do not directly attribute Dada KD’s death to Lumba, they believe he did not treat Dada KD fairly and described him as a cheat who allegedly took advantage of other colleagues, including Great Ampong.
Dada KD, whose real name was Kwakye Duah, passed away on Friday, May 16, after a brief illness. He was 56 years old.
