SDS Alumni Set to Host Launch and Roundtable Discussion on Exchange Rate Volatility

The School of Development Studies (SDS) Alumni is gearing up for the official launch of its activities alongside a high-level roundtable discussion on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Sasakawa Conference Room.
The theme, “Monetary Policy Responses to Exchange Rate Volatility: Implications for Cost of Living,” will bring together distinguished panelists from the Bank of Ghana and academia to explore pressing economic issues affecting households and businesses.
Organizers say the roundtable will serve as a platform for knowledge sharing and critical dialogue on how monetary policies can cushion citizens in the face of rising cost of living and exchange rate fluctuations.
Adding to the excitement, renowned media personality and student, Joseph Jones Paa Kwasi Boakye Nomocle, will moderate the program, ensuring a lively and engaging exchange of ideas.
The event begins at 10:00 a.m. sharp, and participants are encouraged to attend on time to fully benefit from the discussions.
The SDS Alumni believes this gathering will not only strengthen its network but also contribute meaningfully to the national conversation on economic stability and development.
