Selina Boateng Opens Up About Love, Says She’s Ready for Marriage Again

Ghanaian gospel singer Selina Boateng has revealed that she is open to marriage again following the collapse of her six-year union with Isaac Berchie. Speaking on Joy Prime with Doreen Avio, the award-winning artiste said she is ready for love and has a clear idea of the kind of man she is naturally drawn to.
When asked in Akan if she would consider remarrying, Selina responded confidently: “Yes, of course.” She then lightheartedly shared her personal preference, noting that she is often attracted to “fair men,” particularly those of mixed heritage. However, she was quick to emphasize that appearance is secondary to spiritual values. “But marriage isn’t all about what I want. If God gives me someone else, I’ll accept him wholeheartedly,” she said.
Selina stressed that her future partner must be prayerful and God-fearing, describing faith as a non-negotiable quality in her choice of a husband. “His love for God is non-negotiable,” she affirmed.
The “Medofo Pa” hitmaker also revealed that she is not short of attention from admirers. “My line is choked. I have suitors. I am ready. As to whether I will marry a pastor again, only time and God will tell,” she added with a smile.
By opening up about her journey, Selina Boateng has offered fans a glimpse into her personal life beyond the music, showing that while she remains focused on her faith, she is also hopeful about finding love again.
