Stonebwoy Unveils Tracklist for Highly Anticipated EP (The Torcher)

Ghanaian International music icon Stonebwoy has officially revealed the full tracklist for his much-anticipated extended play, The Torcher, set for release later this month.

The nine-track project features the trending lead single Gidi Gidi (Fire) alongside songs such as Send Dem A Prayer, the title track Torcher, Samankudi, Outside Lifestyle, and Deeper. Stonebwoy also included two exciting collaborations: Susuka featuring Beeztrap and Yaw Tog, and Xosetor with Agbeshie and Kenny Ice.

The announcement follows weeks of anticipation. On August 14, Stonebwoy teased fans with a striking motion graphic of a burning Ankh, symbolizing rebirth and resilience. This was followed on September 1 by a one-minute visual teaser featuring evocative poetry narrating the artiste’s journey and artistic evolution.

The Torcher marks Stonebwoy’s first major body of work since his sixth studio album, Up & Running (2024). Despite not releasing new music in the past eight months, the Afro-dancehall star has remained visible on the global stage, thrilling audiences with headline performances at top festivals across Europe, North America, and the Caribbean.

Earlier this year, Stonebwoy embarked on the Up & Running North American Tour, with sold-out shows in Columbus, Toronto, New York, Worcester, and Silver Spring, before wrapping up at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. He has since graced stages at the African Music Festival in Germany, Ruhr Reggae Summer Festival, Reeds Festival in Switzerland, and Jamaica’s Dream WKND Festival.

Stonebwoy aims to further showcase his dynamic sound while reinforcing his place as one of Africa’s most influential voices in international music.
