Volta Regional Minister James Gunu Celebrates Birthday with Generous Donation

The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, celebrated his birthday on Sunday 21st September 2025, with a heartfelt act of kindness at the Ho Trafalgar Children’s Ward. As part of the festivities, he donated essential items and GHS 5,000 to support the facility.

In a touching gesture, the Minister also gave an additional GHS 2,000 to the staff on duty, acknowledging their dedication and service.

During his visit, Hon. Gunu learned about a young patient battling cancer. After further inquiries, he discovered that four children at the ward were currently undergoing cancer treatment. Following a brief discussion with his wife, he pledged to cover 50% of the medical bills for all four children, offering hope and relief to their families.

His generous donations not only brought smiles to the children and staff but also demonstrated his commitment to making a lasting impact on the lives of those who are most vulnerable.
