KNUST SHS Assistant Headmaster Removed After Viral Video Scandal

The Assistant Headmaster of KNUST Senior High School, Mr. Charles A. Aidoo, has been dismissed from his position following the circulation of a viral video that captured him inappropriately touching a female student.

The disturbing footage, which quickly spread across social media platforms, sparked widespread outrage among parents, alumni, and the general public, who demanded swift action to protect students and preserve the institution’s integrity.

In response, the Ghana Education Service (GES) confirmed Mr. Aidoo’s immediate removal from office pending further investigations. Authorities have assured the public that the welfare and safety of students remain the top priority, adding that disciplinary measures will be pursued to their fullest extent.

Meanwhile, advocacy groups and education stakeholders are calling for stricter enforcement of child protection policies in schools to prevent similar incidents from occurring.
