World Vision, Oti Regional Council Partner to Tackle Water and Sanitation Challenges

The Southern Regional office of World Vision Ghana and the Oti Regional Coordinating Council (ORCC) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to deliver universal water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services across the Oti Region.

The five-year initiative will focus on three key districts, Krachi West Municipal, Krachi Nchumuru District, and Kadjebi Akan District, aiming to improve access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities for residents.

Representing the Oti Regional Minister at the signing ceremony, Rev. Harry Nii Kwatei Owoo commended World Vision Ghana for its timely intervention, describing the partnership as a significant step toward addressing long-standing WASH challenges in the region. He reaffirmed the Regional Coordinating Council’s commitment to supporting the program and urged District Chief Executives to monitor and evaluate the projects effectively.

Mr. Irvine Aboagye, Southern Regional Operations Manager of World Vision Ghana, expressed appreciation to the ORCC for their collaboration, pledging the organization’s continued dedication to improving living conditions in the Oti Region.

Associate WASH Director of World Vision Ghana, Mr. Robel Wamisho, encouraged stakeholders to maintain strong cooperation and communication, assuring that World Vision remains committed to achieving the goals of the agreement.
