Kwasi Aboagye Announces Retirement From Radio After Decades of Impactful Broadcasting

Veteran broadcaster Kwasi Aboagye has officially announced his retirement from radio, marking the end of a remarkable chapter in Ghana’s media landscape.

Speaking live on his Peace FM show on Thursday, November 27, 2025, he revealed that he will step away from radio on December 13, 2025.

Aboagye expressed deep appreciation to the management of Despite Media for the opportunity and support throughout his career. He also extended gratitude to colleagues, listeners, and all who played a role in his journey, adding that he will, at the right time, personally acknowledge especially instrumental individuals.

His retirement marks the end of a significant era in entertainment and radio broadcasting, leaving a lasting legacy that will be remembered for years.
