Kumasi High Court Declares Two Women as Surviving Wives of Late Daddy Lumba

The Kumasi High Court has delivered a significant ruling in the ongoing dispute surrounding the marital status and burial arrangements of the late highlife legend Daddy Lumba. The court determined that both Akosua Serwaa Fosuh and Priscilla Ofori, popularly known as Odo Broni, are surviving wives of the musician.

In its decision, the court dismissed a contested German marriage certificate presented during the proceedings, describing it as insufficient to invalidate the claims of either woman. The ruling directs that both individuals must be fully acknowledged during the widowhood rites of the late artiste.
