Sarkodie, and others to Perform at “Music is My Life Concert”

Tema will usher in 2026 with an explosive celebration as the Music Is My Life Concert takes center stage on January 1 at Big Base Street, Community 2.

Headlined by Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie and fast-rising star Kweku Smoke, the event promises a dynamic showcase of the country’s finest musical talent. Joining them are King Promise, Asakaa Boys (Reggie, Jay Bahd, Kwaku DMC & SKYFACE SDW), Mista Myles, Kimilist, Ras Kuuku, Lasmid, and other top acts, ensuring an unforgettable night of high-energy performances.

Organized by Mimlife Records, the concert has become a cultural staple, marking the official start of Ghana’s entertainment calendar. CEO Mubarak Nkrumah (K9) describes it as “a movement,” emphasizing its role in uniting fans through music.

The free-entry event, a cornerstone of the label’s community initiatives, underscores its commitment to fostering local talent and offering accessible entertainment.

Eric Asmah, general manager of Mimlife Records, highlights the lineup’s diversity, blending established stars with emerging voices shaping Ghana’s sound.

Gates open at 6:00 PM for a night where rhythm and revelry collide, setting the tone for a year of unforgettable musical moments.

Edy Wonder Sedzro, also known as Edy Wonda, is a prominent Ghanaian media personality and event organizer from the Volta Region. He is best known as the CEO of the Volta Media Excellence Awards (VMEA), an initiative established in 2020 to recognize and motivate media practitioners in the Volta and Oti regions.
