Great Oti Association Donates to Oti Region Hospitals

The Great Oti Association–North America has once again demonstrated its commitment to improving healthcare in the Oti Region with a generous donation of medical supplies to five health facilities.

Led by its President, Dell Saviour Adiakpor, and Country Representative, Rear Admiral Mosee Beick-Baffour (Retired), the Association presented essential items, including bed covers, bed sheets, pillowcases, wheelchairs, zima frames, isolation gowns, and nose masks to Jasikan Municipal Hospital, Worawora Regional Hospital, Likpe Bakua Polyclinic, Kadjebi Health Center, and Kete Krachi Government Hospital.

The donation exercise began in August 2024, with Jasikan and Worawora hospitals as the first beneficiaries. This year’s outreach was expanded through the support of the Peniel Ebenezer Foundation and Christ Oasis Ministries, which made it possible to include protective supplies such as gowns and masks.

Hospital authorities expressed deep appreciation, pledging to put the items to good use for both patients and staff. Rear Admiral Beick-Baffour, during the presentation, encouraged beneficiaries to share the Association’s impact with relatives abroad and invited more natives to join the union. He also announced the official launch of the Association in Worcester, Massachusetts, next week.

The Great Oti Association-North America, made up of natives of the region living in the U.S., is dedicated to supporting communities back home through initiatives in healthcare, education, and social development.
