H.E. John Mahama Lauds National Service Authority Poultry Farm for Innovation and Efficiency

President John Dramani Mahama has praised the National Service Authority (NSA) Poultry Farm at Haatso for its remarkable scale and operational efficiency.

Visiting the farm despite heavy rains, President Mahama commended the project’s progress, describing it as “very impressive.” He toured the facility, moving from pen to pen to assess the condition of the birds, inspect ongoing work, and observe the modern technology being deployed.

The NSA poultry initiative is part of efforts to create employment opportunities for young graduates while boosting Ghana’s agricultural sector. Mahama emphasized the importance of such ventures in enhancing food security, reducing imports, and empowering the youth with practical skills in agribusiness.

He encouraged continued investment in agricultural innovation and expressed optimism that the farm would serve as a model for similar projects nationwide.
