Gang Leader Kwame Ato Attacked and Humiliated in Rival Gang Ambush

A violent clash between rival gangs has left Kwame Ato, a well-known gang leader, brutally attacked and humiliated during an ambush.

Eyewitnesses report that Ato, infamous for previously assaulting police officers and seizing their weapons, was targeted alongside his group in what appeared to be a dispute over control of mining operations. The confrontation turned deadly when a rival gang launched a surprise attack.

According to accounts, Ato’s members fled the scene, abandoning him to face the rival faction alone. In a disturbing video circulating on social media, he is seen being hacked with machetes and forcibly undressed, an act witnesses say was intended to publicly disgrace him.

The incident has heightened fears of escalating violence within the mining communities, where rival groups often clash over territory and resources. Security experts have called for urgent intervention to prevent further bloodshed and restore order.
