Ghana Medical Trust Fund Receives GH₵300,000 Boost from ITEC Global

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund has received a major boost in its mission to strengthen healthcare for persons living with non-communicable diseases (NCDs) across the country.
ITEC Global, a renowned multinational company, has pledged GH₵300,000 to support the Fund’s mandate. The commitment was announced during a courtesy visit by Mr. Sam Godding, CEO of ITEC Global, and Mr. Douglas Arthur-Mensah, the company’s Country Managing Director.
According to the Fund, the financial support will significantly enhance ongoing initiatives aimed at expanding access to quality healthcare for Ghanaians battling NCDs.
Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, Obuobia Darko-Opoku, expressed deep appreciation to ITEC Global, noting that the gesture reflects more than just financial aid. “Such partnerships are about shared responsibility to secure a future where every Ghanaian living with an NCD has access to quality healthcare,” she said.
She further emphasized that collaborations of this nature are critical to achieving the Fund’s long-term goals. With ITEC Global’s commitment, the Fund is optimistic about making a greater impact in reducing the burden of NCDs.
