Kojo Cue Music Appeals to Thinkers, Not the Masses - Kwesi Martinezz

Entertainment analyst Kwesi Martinezz has shared his perspective on why Ghanaian rapper Kojo Cue may struggle to attract mass appeal despite his undeniable talent. Speaking on an entertainment show, on Hitz FM in Accra, Martinezz noted that Kojo Cue’s music is rich in depth, message and intelligence, qualities that often don’t resonate with the general public.

According to him, many music consumers prefer easily digestible and danceable tunes rather than thought-provoking lyrics. “Artistes like Kojo Cue won’t get the masses to follow them because not everyone is willing to listen to sensible songs,” he said.

Kwesi Martinezz praised Kojo Cue for maintaining authenticity and lyrical brilliance in an industry dominated by trends. He urged Ghanaians to appreciate artists who use their craft to educate and inspire, emphasizing that meaningful music deserves as much attention as commercial hits.
