Give Me a Plot to Develop An Event Center In Accra

Nigerian Afrobeats star and entrepreneur Mr. Eazi has reaffirmed his commitment to Ghana’s entertainment industry by pledging $2 million to develop state-of-the-art event venues in Accra.

The investment, contingent on the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) providing land, aims to elevate Ghana’s event infrastructure with both indoor and outdoor spaces. Mr. Eazi made the announcement during his headline performance at Detty Rave 2025 on December 27, 2025, held at Untamed Empire off Spintex Road.

Addressing the crowd, the emPawa Africa founder emphasized the need for world-class venues to support Ghana’s thriving creative sector. He called on the GTA to facilitate the project, assuring skeptics of his dedication by publicly committing the funds.

“I need to tell the Ghana Tourism Authority that we need proper venues for events in Ghana,” he stated. “If the GTA thinks I am not serious, I am pledging $2 million. What I am saying is simple: I need a space in Accra to build a proper rave yard, and I will also build a 3,000-capacity indoor events venue.”

Detty Rave, one of Africa’s premier Afrodance festivals, returned in 2025 with its boldest iteration yet, themed “Raise the Heat.” The event transformed Untamed Empire into an electrifying hub of music and energy, drawing thousands of revelers. The seventh edition featured stellar performances by Davido, J Hus, SPINALL, Nooriyah, Chichi DJ, Ciza, DJ Aroma, and Choplife Soundsystem.

Mr Eazi’s proposal underscores his long-standing ties to Ghana, where he first gained prominence as an artist. His vision for modern event spaces could significantly boost the country’s entertainment landscape, fostering growth and attracting international talent. The ball now lies in the GTA’s court to turn this ambitious project into reality.
