Okyeame Kwame Endorses King Paluta for Artiste of the Year

Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur Okyeame Kwame has thrown his support behind King Paluta for the coveted Artiste of the Year title.

In a social media post featuring a clip from King Paluta’s latest music video, Magic, Okyeame Kwame declared, “Artiste of the Year. Signed, sealed, delivered. And he is wearing the love equation by OK. Medaase.”

Though he didn’t specify an award scheme, his statement fuels the ongoing debate about who deserves the top honor at the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

King Paluta has had an outstanding year in 2024, producing multiple hits like Aseda, Makoma, and For the Popping (Apicki). His album, along with high-energy performances on major stages both locally and internationally, has cemented his status as one of the year’s most talked-about artists.

However, the competition remains intense. King Promise, who came close last year but lost to Stonebwoy, is a strong contender. Stonebwoy himself continues to dominate with another impressive year of music and performances.

King Paluta, born Thomas Adjei Wireko, has already made his mark, winning New Artiste of the Year, Hiplife Song of the Year, and Hiplife Artiste of the Year at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards and the Taabea Ghana Music Awards UK. He has collaborated with top industry names, including Okyeame Kwame, Sista Afia, and Camidoh, further solidifying his presence in the music scene.
