Ghana made a big impression on the last day of ITB Berlin 2025 by celebrating its 68th Independence Day in style.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, the Ghana Tourism Authority, and the Ghana Embassy in Berlin. The Ghana stand became a lively cultural center.
Visitors enjoyed traditional music and energetic dances that showed Ghana’s rich heritage. The performances created an exciting atmosphere, making guests feel like they were in Ghana.
One of the highlights was the delicious food. Guests got to taste Ghanaian favorites like jollof rice, spicy kelewele (fried plantains), grilled kebabs, chicken, and refreshing sobolo (hibiscus drink). The amazing flavors and aromas attracted many people to the stand.
Hon. Minister Abla Dzifa Gomashie and Ghana Tourism Authority CEO Efua Houadjeto warmly welcomed everyone. The Minister encouraged visitors to explore Ghana’s beautiful culture and landscapes.
The celebration was a great success, leaving a strong impression on ITB Berlin’s final day.
