Volta Regional Director of YEA Meets Key Stakeholders

On March 5, 2025, in Ho, Mr. Daniel Hamenu, the new Volta Regional Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), started his work by meeting important people and groups in the region. His aim is to strengthen partnerships and improve job opportunities for young people.

Here are the key meetings he held with the stakeholders.

Ho Police Training School: Mr. Hamenu met with the second-in-command at the training school to discuss how the Ghana Police Service can help train Community Police Assistants (CPA).

Zoomlion Ghana Limited: He spoke with the Volta Regional Manager about improving waste management and sanitation.T

hey also talked about unpaid allowances for Zoomlion workers over the past 14 months and plans to recruit more people.

Regional Police Commander: Due to the commander’s busy schedule, their meeting was postponed to a later date.

Ghana Prisons Service: Mr. Hamenu discussed possible partnerships with the Regional Commander.

The commander requested that Prison Support workers be added to the regular prison service, as they have gained valuable job skills.

These meetings show Mr. Hamenu’s dedication to working closely with stakeholders to create better job opportunities for young people in the region.
