GNTDA Kpetoe Branch Inaugurate Branch B

The Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA) has expanded its reach with the inauguration of its branch ‘B’ in Agortime Kpetoe. The ceremony took place on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the E.P. JHS school.

The Regional Chairman of GNTDA, Volta, expressed his gratitude to the members for their hard work and dedication. He noted that the opening of the new branch is a testament to the association’s growth and strength.

The Regional Chairman urged the members to continue working tirelessly to uplift the image of the association. He emphasized the importance of their contributions to the growth and development of GNTDA.

The newly elected executives of the branch ‘B’ were sworn into office. Mr. Charles Tretsu took the oath as Chairman, while Ms. Elizabeth Denu became the Vice Chairman. Other executives include Ms. Precious Ahorto as Secretary, Ms. Rejoice Gomli as Examination Coordinator, and Ms. Gifty Dzakobo as Financial Secretary.

Dr. Hallo, the special guest and Chairperson for the occasion, expressed his appreciation for being part of the ceremony. He charged the association to continue educating the youth, encouraging them to take up the profession with courage and zeal.

The inauguration ceremony also witnessed the graduation of six apprentices. The Chairman, Mr. Charles Tretsu, urged the newly graduated apprentices to be dedicated to their work and discharge their duties with passion and commitment.

The inauguration of GNTDA branch ‘B’ is expected a enhance the association’s growth and expansion. With the new executives in place, the branch is poised to contribute meaningfully to the development of the tailoring and dressmaking profession in the region.
