DOVVSU Officials Educate Radio Listeners on Domestic Violence

The Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service recently engaged with the host and listeners of VOV Radio’s “This Morning Volta” program. ASP Clever Ayayee, DOVVSU Coordinator for Volta North, and Inspector Kwao Felix, Head of Public Relations for Volta North Region, shared valuable insights on the unit’s obligations and services.

During the discussion, they highlighted common offenses reported to DOVVSU, the support provided to victims, and the importance of reporting cases to the unit. The officials emphasized DOVVSU’s commitment to protecting and supporting victims of domestic violence and abuse.
