Delta Air Lines Launches Accra–Atlanta Seasonal Service at KIA

Delta Air Lines has officially launched its Accra–Atlanta seasonal flight at the Kotoka International Airport, marking another major step in strengthening air connectivity between Ghana and the United States.

The brief but colourful ceremony was attended by the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Maame Efua Houadjeto, and GTA Board Member Prince Anthony Bart-Appiah, who both reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to promoting destination accessibility and driving tourism growth.

According to officials, the new route enhances travel options for the Ghanaian diaspora while creating a smoother pathway for visitors heading to Ghana for the highly anticipated December in GH festivities and other flagship events.

The GTA expressed pride in supporting initiatives that expand Ghana’s international presence, attract more visitors, and contribute to building a vibrant and competitive tourism economy.
