Stonebwoy’s Team: We did not Stop DJ Lord OTB from Playing Shatta Wale’s Songs

Ghanaian DJ Lord OTB recently accused Stonebwoy’s team of interfering with his set at the Accravaganza event after he played songs by Shatta Wale.

The reigning Ghana DJ of the Year took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his frustration, stating that during his performance with Merqury Quaye, he included tracks from Shatta Wale, which energized the crowd.

However, he claimed that an official from the event instructed him to stop playing Shatta Wale’s songs, allegedly following orders from Stonebwoy’s management. DJ Lord OTB considered this move unprofessional and expressed his disappointment.

In response, Stonebwoy’s road manager, Chief Stylez, refuted the allegations, clarifying that DJ Lord OTB had admitted in a phone call that it was actually an event organizer, not Stonebwoy’s team, who made the request. Chief Stylez criticized the DJ for spreading misinformation, while other members of Stonebwoy’s team have also dismissed the claims.

The incident has sparked discussions among fans, but Stonebwoy’s camp maintains that they had no role in stopping the DJ from playing Shatta Wale’s songs.
